Specifications for Art Mats with 24 oz. Woven Backing

A 24 oz. woven backing on Art Runners is substantial and durable, equivalent to having a rubber backing on them. However, a runner with a woven backing needs a carpet pad underneath to prevent slipping and sliding.

As with any work of art, direct sunlight will cause some fading over time. It is recommended that your mat, if placed outside, be located in shade - if indoors, out of porlonged daily exposure to sun.

Cleaning Your Woven Back Mat:

To clean a woven back rug, we recommend a product called CAPTURE which is made by Milliken & Co. It is a system where you spritz the fabric with moisture, sprinkle on a powder which attracts the dirt, let it dry and vaccuum it up. Follow the CAPTURE link for purchase information. Otherwise, any cleaning system like this would work.
